How It Works

Each trek is unique in length and location with a primary focus on active on-site hiking, though our entire Stillpoint process extends far beyond the trek itself.

Initial Consultation

We want to learn more about you, understand your interest in Transformative Trekking, and hear about your goals.

Virtual Group Sessions

Leading up to the trek, you will participate in virtual group meetings with the entire cohort of trekkers—usually just 3–4 people.

Fitness Requirement

Our team provides each trekker with fitness prep resources to ensure you’re ready to conquer the trail ahead.

Who Guides Stillpoint?

Shawn Costello Whooley is a passionate trekker, dedicated coach, and thought leader in the field of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). With a deep love for the great outdoors, Shawn has embarked on countless adventures, exploring some of the world’s most challenging terrains while honing her skills as a coach. Her background as a clinical psychologist and expertise in ACT has not only transformed the lives of countless individuals but has also inspired others to embrace mindfulness and psychological flexibility as powerful tools for personal growth and resilience.
